HArmonyCaElevate your look with HArmonyCa™ is a dual-effect injectable designed to be injected into the deep layers of your skin. It contains two ingredients: hyaluronic acid combined with calcium hydroxyapatite.
Calcium hydroxyapatite is a naturally-occurring mineral that is found in our bones and hyaluronic acid is an important molecule in our skin.
HArmonyCa™ contains lidocaine, a mild local anesthetic, to make your treatment more comfortable. Your healthcare practitioner will assess your needs for pain management and apply, if necessary, the appropriate form of anesthetic. They may also apply ice to the injection site to reduce swelling.
You may experience some common side effects, such as pain, edema, swelling, and itching, after treatment. These effects are typically mild in severity and usually resolve within 24-48 hours, with swelling subsiding within a week. If you experience any side effects, you should promptly report them to the attending medical practitioner.
Your healthcare practitioner will inform you to avoid strenuous activity, exposure to sunlight and tanning lamps or extreme weather conditions for 24 hours post- treatment to reduce redness, swelling and irritation. You may wish to apply an ice pack or cold compresses to the treated area as per your healthcare practitioner's instructions post-treatment to reduce redness, swelling and irritation.
Contraindications of HArmonyCa Lidocaine: Do not inject in cases of known sensitivity to any product components. Avoid use in patients with skin diseases, infections, inflammation at or near the treatment site. Contraindicated for those prone to keloids, hypertrophic scarring, or inflammatory skin conditions. Avoid in patients with impaired wound healing due to systemic disorders or certain medications. Do not use in patients with prolonged bleeding or poor tissue healing, history of anaphylactic reactions, or multiple severe allergies. Allergies to steroids or lidocaine (amide-type local anesthetics) also contraindicate use. Avoid injection in glabellar, periocular areas, lips, perioral region, regions with foreign bodies, blood vessels, highly vascularized areas, epidermis, and superficial dermis. Not suitable for patients with herpes, autoimmune diseases, breastfeeding, pregnant women, or those under 18. Precautions of HArmonyCa Lidocaine: Only to be used by authorized medical practitioners per local regulations. Single-use on one patient only; do not re-sterilize. Use under sterile conditions and before the expiration date. Do not use if the package is open, tampered with, or suspected of damage; discard damaged devices. Clinical judgment is required for the application, following sound medical practices. Caution in patients with a history of herpes, recent dental treatments, infections, or on immunosuppressive therapy. Be cautious near other dermal fillers, especially in marionette lines and oral commissures; do not overcorrect to avoid material migration. Allow 4 weeks between this and ultrasound-based, laser, or peeling treatments. Mild discomfort may occur; consider anesthetics following common practice.
